Where does CoinGate get its exchange rates?

CoinGate takes advantage of multiple exchanges worldwide when calculating exchange rates for invoices. Our priority is always to ensure operational, regulatory, and liquidity requirements while striving to remain competitive in the market. To ensure that, CoinGate utilises proprietary algorithms that fetches real-time rates from exchange and adjusts it for risks associated with the transaction. We also stay mindful of market volatility and offer a locked exchange rate for 20 minutes, giving a payee enough time to complete the payment. The exchange rate is openly disclosed on the payment invoice.
