When you sign up on CoinGate, your personal account is created first.
From there, you can set up one or more business accounts under the same profile.
This setup allows you to easily manage multiple businesses or switch between them from one login — without needing separate credentials.
In addition, if you’re invited to join an existing business account (for example, as an Administrator, Accountant, or Support user), a user account is created for you automatically.
This lets you access that business profile while keeping your own personal login and security settings.
How personal and business accounts work together
Your personal account is your main user profile. It’s used to log in to CoinGate, manage security settings (like 2FA), and create or access business accounts.
A business account represents a specific legal entity that uses CoinGate services. Each business account has its own balances, verification status, documents, and user list.
You can be part of several business accounts — either ones you’ve created yourself or those you’ve been invited to join.
| 🔐 If you are assigned a role with extended permissions, you may be asked to complete personal verification. This verification is required to access certain financial or sensitive areas of the business account. The business owner’s identity is verified separately during the business verification process. |
