Each time you open a payment link through CoinGate, a unique checkout page is created. That means a new payment address is generated for each order and each time-window.
What happens in this case
Payments sent to old addresses are not linked to the vendor or order.
The only option is to issue a refund in the same currency and network back to your wallet.
What you need to do
Please contact our Support team and provide:
The transaction hash (TXID) of your payment
The old CoinGate order ID where this address was originally shown
Your refund wallet address
Contact us using the same email address that you entered on the original checkout page — this speeds up the process.
Important to know
Payments must always be sent to the address generated on the active checkout page.
Sending funds to an old address will never be credited to a new order or vendor.
⚠️ Always generate a new checkout page for each payment. Do not reuse or send funds to addresses from past payment links.
