How can I resolve a payment that’s stuck on “Confirming”?

If you see the status “Confirming” on your checkout page, it means we’ve detected your transaction, but we’re still waiting for the required blockchain/crypto network confirmations.

 

What you can do:

  • Nothing else is required from your end at this stage — your payment is in the system and under process.

  • You may close the checkout page tab if you like (just make sure you’ve bookmarked or saved the link for your reference).

  • Wait for the merchant or our system to send you an email once the payment is fully processed.

  • Confirmation time depends on two key factors:

    1. The transaction fee you attached (if the fee was very low, confirmation may take longer).

    2. Network congestion on the blockchain (it could take several hours or, in rare cases, even days).

What to keep in mind:

  • A “stuck”-looking status doesn’t mean the payment failed — it just means it hasn’t yet reached all required confirmations.

  • If you’ve sent the payment with the correct currency and network, it should complete normally once those confirmations land.

When to contact support:

If the status remains “Confirming” for an unusually long period (e.g., 24 hours or more), or if you believe you made a mistake with currency, network, or fee, please contact our support team. When you do, please include:

  • The transaction hash (TXID) from your wallet

  • Your CoinGate Order ID
    This information will help us track the payment more efficiently.
