Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your CoinGate account.
It helps protect your login and sensitive account actions by requiring both your password and a code from an authentication app.
How to enable 2FA

Log in to your CoinGate account.

Go to Settings → Security.

Under the Two-Factor Authentication section, click Enable 2FA.

Open your preferred authentication app (such as Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator).

Scan the QR code displayed on the CoinGate dashboard, or enter the code manually.

The app will generate a 6-digit code — enter it to confirm and complete setup.
Once enabled, you’ll be asked for a verification code each time you log in or perform sensitive actions (like changing security settings or approving withdrawals).
