How can I change my account password?

You can change your password yourself from your account settings.

Changing your password

1. Log in to your CoinGate account.
2. Go to Account → User Settings in the left-hand menu.
3. Open the Change Password tab.
4. Enter your current password, then the new one, and save.

If you do not remember your current password

Use the password reset link on the login page. A reset email will be sent to your registered address — if it does not arrive, check your spam folder first.

Good practice

Use a password you do not use anywhere else, and keep two-factor authentication enabled. If you suspect someone else has had access to your account, change the password and contact our support team so we can check recent activity.
