Why was my order suspended?

If you’ve sent a transaction to pay for goods or services via CoinGate, and your order status becomes Invalid, it means we couldn’t process your payment due to compliance reasons.

In many cases, this happens because the payment was flagged during blockchain screening. This may occur if it:

  • originated from a sanctioned country or region (for example : Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Belarus, Russia);

  • involved a wallet address linked to sanctioned individuals, entities, or crypto exchanges (such as Garantex, Hydra, Suex, Chatex, or others listed by the EU, the UN, OFAC);

  • was associated with illicit or high-risk activity, such as stolen crypto, scams, ransomware, terrorism financing, or darknet-related transactions.

We are legally prohibited from accepting payments that come from such sanctioned or high-risk sources, and those transactions are automatically rejected and marked as invalid.

In such cases, no refund can be issued, whether full or partial. This policy is strictly enforced under applicable EU and international regulations.

Important: Where a listed country/territory is subject to international sanctions (for example: Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Belarus, Russia), attempted payments are non-refundable and may trigger regulatory reporting.
