Under CoinGate's internal jurisdiction policy, the countries/territories below are restricted due to elevated AML/CTF and sanctions risk. Payments from or to them are not permitted:
- Afghanistan
- Belarus
- Cuba
- Iran
- Iraq
- North Korea
- Myanmar (Burma)
- Palestine
- Russia
- Syria
- Ukraine occupied/restricted territories: Crimea & Sevastopol, Donetsk, Luhansk
- Yemen
If you are in or transacting to these restricted locations
Payments originating from any listed country/territory will not be processed on CoinGate. If you are located in, or using a wallet/service registered in, one of these regions, do not attempt to make a payment.
In addition, payouts/withdrawals to wallets or services in these restricted jurisdictions are not supported and will be blocked.
If a payment is attempted via Binance Pay and the sender’s account is detected as originating from a restricted jurisdiction, the transaction is automatically returned to the sender’s Binance account, except where sanctions exposure is identified. In refundable cases, funds usually appear in the sender’s Binance account within minutes, and the sender receives an email confirmation from CoinGate.
Note: Where a listed country/territory is subject to international sanctions (for example, Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Belarus, Russia), attempted payments are non-refundable and may trigger regulatory reporting. More details here.
