Where can I find my transaction hash (TXID) and Order ID?

The transaction hash (also called TXID or transaction ID) is a unique code that identifies your payment on the blockchain. We need it to find and check your payment, so please always send it as text, not as a screenshot.

What a transaction hash looks like

It is a long string of letters and numbers, for example:

  • Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon and other EVM networks: starts with 0x and is 66 characters long;
  • Bitcoin, Litecoin, TRON and many others: 64 characters without 0x.

A transaction hash is not the same as a wallet address, and it is not the CoinGate Order ID. A wallet address is where funds are sent; the hash identifies one specific transfer.

Where to find it

Exchange (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, Bybit, OKX and others): open your withdrawal history (usually under Wallet or Assets → History → Withdrawals), select the withdrawal you made to CoinGate and copy the field called TXID, Transaction ID or Transaction Hash. If the exchange shows an internal transfer ID instead, wait until the withdrawal status is completed: the blockchain TXID appears only after the funds have actually been sent.

Wallet app (Trust Wallet, MetaMask, Exodus, Ledger Live and others): open the asset you sent, tap the outgoing transaction in the history and look for Transaction Hash or TXID. Many wallets also have a “View on block explorer” link that shows the hash at the top of the page.

If you cannot find it, the payment may not have been sent yet. Check that the transaction is shown as completed in your exchange or wallet.

Where to find your CoinGate Order ID

The Order ID is shown on the CoinGate checkout page and in the emails we sent you about the payment (for example, “Order #12345678”). If you paid through a merchant’s website, it may also be in the merchant’s order confirmation.

What to send us

When contacting support about a payment, please include, in text:

  • the transaction hash (TXID);
  • the CoinGate Order ID, if you have it;
  • the cryptocurrency and network you used (for example, USDT on TRON).

With these details, we can locate your payment straight away without asking you again.
