I paid too little. What should I do?

If you underpaid your checkout page, don’t worry — the page will clearly show:

  • The amount you already paid, and

  • The remaining amount still to be paid.

While the checkout page is still active

Simply send a second transaction to cover the missing amount before the checkout page expires.
Once the full payment is received, your order will be confirmed automatically.

A confirmation window with your Transaction IDs will appear on the checkout page once the payment is complete.

If the checkout page has already expired

A Refund request form will appear on the checkout page once your underpaid transaction is detected.
Fill in the required details (wallet address, network, email) and submit the refund request.

Refunds are processed back in the same currency and network that was originally used for the payment.

Important notes

  • If the underpayment is very small compared to the total order amount, the order might still be marked as Paid automatically — always check the checkout page status.

  • The minimum refundable amount is €3 (or equivalent in the payment currency). If the amount you paid is less than this, a refund cannot be issued.

  • If the checkout page expired and you submit a refund request, you can still leave the box “Accept my payment if possible” selected. In such cases, if the small underpayment can still be completed, the order may be processed instead of refunded.

  • If you don’t see a refund form, please contact our Support team and provide:

  • The transaction hash (TXID)

  • Your CoinGate Order ID or checkout page link

  • (Important) Contact us from the same email address used on the checkout page — this helps us verify your request faster.
