What is the abandoned account and abandoned account fee?

Abandoned account fees are applied to dormant accounts, i.e. personal or business accounts on CoinGate that had no transactions processed for a minimum of six months or for which contact information (address, phone numbers, email address) is no longer valid.

Abandoned account fee rate is 0.5% from remaining account balance, but not less than 10 Eur (or equivalent in other currency, fiat or crypto). Fee is applied every month when account is considered abandoned as per definition in Terms and Conditions.
